1. Applications
Aluminium clad steel strand conductor is used for various voltage level power transmission lines , overhead transmission lines and overhead ground wires. It can also be applied in various special areas with long span length, coastal areas and island as well as other hot and humid regions, salt fog regions and heavily polluted regions where the high corrosion resistance strand is needed. Aluminium clad steel conductor also be used as messenger wire for electrified railways.

2. Construction
Aluminum-clad steel wire, commonly abbreviated as AW or AS or AC, is an electrical conductor composed of an inner steel core and outer Aluminum cladding. Aluminum clad steel wire is a bimetallic in which aluminum covers on the steel core continuously and evenly. The ACS Stranded Conductors are used as Earthwires, Shieldwires or core of Aluminum Conductors.
